Krav Maga Maleh (KMM) is the next generation of Israeli Martial Arts. It is also one of the largest and most authentic streams of Krav Maga in Israel. Just like many other important technologies, it has undergone significant improvement. Attacks have changed over time, so the ways we defend must also change. Krav Maga Maleh is a “living system”. Our defenses are constantly being evaluated by our Israeli Chief Instructor, Mr. Guy Dar, and are adapted as required. Through real life experiences, Krav Maga Maleh techniques have become simpler, more instinctive, faster, and stronger than ever before.

Krav Maga is a real-life self-defense system that anyone can learn. It was originally developed for the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and later adapted for civilian and police use. Krav Maga is known as an extremely efficient self-defense system that focuses on real life situations. It was developed by Imi Lichtenfeld (Sde-Or), a Hungarian-Jewish martial artist.

At our academy we offer two types of programs to meet our client’s needs. All programs are non-contract and paid month by month or by the hour, depending on the program. All academy classes are taught by KMM certified instructors or assistant instructors to ensure each class gets authentic Krav Maga instruction. Classes (group or private) can be conducted in Spanish if desired by qualified coaches.

Our normal evening group classes are typically 90 minutes long with some water breaks. Normal group classes cost $110 a month or $100 a month if you are a retired or active military, first responder, professional educator, or full-time student. For group classes, the first 3 introductory classes are free.

We also provide private/individual instruction outside of normal group training hours for $50 an hour with a discount of $10 an hour if you qualify as mentioned above. This option is ideal for shift workers, busy executives or professionals, or folks that want to progress a little faster with personal instruction. Training locations can vary by coordination with the head coach but can be at any suitable location in the Athens/Watkinsville GA areas. There are no free introductory private/individual classes.

INSTRUCTORS

David Fivecoat

Coach David Fivecoat is a retired U.S. Army helicopter pilot with over 27 years of military service. He has been a martial arts instructor for over 35 years and is a certified Krav Maga instructor and international examiner under the Krav Maga Maleh organization. Coach Dave started Classic City Krav Maga to serve Clarke County and the surrounding areas. Dave is dedicated to teaching and coaching adult self-defense and reality based martial arts.
